Nurain Rebecca Morger Md. Amin
Born 17.12.1971
Nationality Swiss
After secondary school, Nurain went to stay with a family of two
children in the Italian speaking part of Switzerland and during that time she
learned to speak their language. In 1989, she attended Preparation
School for Nursing while working in a Children Hospital in Lucern. This
would be the start of her long journey of caring for children. Her love
and dedication saw her earning a Diploma in Nursing specialise in
Children and Maternity. She has been a Nurse at the Intensive Care for
Premature Babies Ward in Lucerne and Clinic Liebfrauenhof in Zug.
Though she lived an illustrious career caring for children, fate
brought her to Malaysia in 1994 and sparked her interest to travel for a time
in Asia. It was then that she met and fell in love with Hamid. She was
fascinated with Taman Negara and dreamed to start a special guesthouse
that would provide visitors the comforts of home. With Hamid, they
would provide travellers with a rich experience of the culture and nature
of Taman Negara.
Nurain was married to Hamid in 1999 and their love gave birth to Sagil
their son in 2001.
Nurain likes to meet people. Her warmth and friendliness allows her to
get along with people and to pick up their language. Now, she is able
to speak in 5 languages, with many more to come.
